Michael Lemish  is a board member of the Space Coast War Dog Association and for 15 years was the historian for the Vietnam Dog Handler Association. His first book "War Dogs - Canines in Combat" (Potomac Books) was published in 1996. He has also written for Aviation History, American Legion, Private Pilot, Vietnam, and was a staff writer for the Atlantic Flyer:General Aviation News. He has contributed to war dog documentaries that have appeared on The History Channel, PBS, BBC, The Discovery Channel, and Histories Mysteries.
